If you are curious about what living in the new luxury high-rise, Tavira at Bonita Bay, would be, homeowners are enthused to share a personal perspective about what owning a home in Tavira means to them.
The “official” first residents” to move in at the end of January, Nelson and Celia Zahler, are looking forward to getting acquainted with other residents in the coming weeks. But, for now, they are thoroughly enjoying the full use of the amenities.
“We are really happy,” said Celia. “We have a home in Maryland and had a condo in North Naples where we would vacation.” There were no walking paths or biking paths there, so when they visited Bonita Bay, one of the first things they noticed, and were so impressed by, is the miles of walking paths. “We love to walk and ride our bikes and we couldn’t do that at our other condo, ” said Celia. An active recreational life is important to the Zahlers. He likes to golf; she loves to swim and play tennis.
They also love to entertain. “We hosted a great super bowl party,” said Celia. “It was wonderful to use the theatre with the big screen. We used our built-in grill on the terrace to cook dinner.” The Zahlers also are very impressed with the floor plans so that each bedroom had a private bathroom. “It’s really important to me to provide privacy for our overnight guests,” Celia said.
Views were also high on the Zahlers “love it” list. “You can look out everywhere and see amazing views. The through-views are really spectacular. You can lie in bed and still see the Gulf,” said Joy.
Although their leaseback isn’t up until April 2011, Kurt and Joy Woodford are eagerly anticipating their time at Tavira.
“I wish it were this April,” Joy Woodford said with a laugh. The Woodfords who reside in Elkins, West Virginia were visiting family in the area and toured Tavira on a whim. “We thought we might consider moving to Florida someday. We weren’t even looking when we saw Tavira and fell in love.”
