Culinary Concept’s Karma Club has selected the Children’s Museum of Naples as the beneficiary of its fifth annual Yabba Island Pirate Ball.

The Pirate Ball will be held Wednesday, April 22, at the Yabba Island Grill. 711 Fifth Ave. South in Naples.

The event will begin with a silent auction and reception at 6 p.m. with dinner and live auction to follow at 7:30 p.m.

Event co-chairs, Louise Purtle, Mimy von Schreiner-Valenti and Stephanie Waltbillig, each members of the Children’s Museum Guild, anticipate hosting more than 200 guests dressed in their pirate best to enjoy a swashbuckling evening of good grub and grog.

A drawing for a 2009 Smart Car for Two Passion Coupe, valued at $18,000, will also be part of the evening and only 1,000 tickets, priced at $150 each, will be sold.
