R&D Companies’ Capri Grand Villa model residence in the Italia neighborhood at Treviso Bay has been designed for those who appreciate the ultimate in Southwest Florida living. This three bedroom, three and a half bath home is the epitome of the casually elegant lifestyle found throughout the 1,050 acre community being developed by Wisconsin based V.K. Development Corporation just 10 minutes from downtown Naples. Faith Fix of Freestyle Interiors has created an environment that offers a delightful combination of indoor and outdoor living.
The Capri is done in a Mediterranean style with a decidedly Californian edge to it. Saltillo Mexican tile is utilized throughout the living areas of the residence and includes Talevera inserts that convey a very traditional Mexican feel.
The foyer provides a strong first impression. A 16’ barrel ceiling is done in brick with very strong pecky cypress beams. Two beautiful lantern chandeliers with seeded glass and refined metal work hang from the ceiling. Sconces are placed on the columns supporting the beams. The grandness of the foyer is also seen in the furniture selection. The furniture is a mix of hand carved pieces – a drawer chest from South America, an iron and glass étagère with transitional detailing, a carved wooden bench with an antique stool from Tibet, a hand carved mirror – all of which provide an Old World feel.

Artistically carved among original stands of towering pine, cypress and oak trees, Estuary at Grey Oaks is a wondrous combination of luxurious residences, challenging golf, pristine conditions and nature at its best with many wetlands and vegetation left in their original state. Estuary’s natural setting is an extension of a 48 acre preserve that serves as the western border of the community. The preserve itself is intersected by the Gordon River.
The Lutgert Companies’ three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath Emilia villa residence in Estuary’s acclaimed Marsh Wren neighborhood takes full advantage of the community’s spectacular setting. Designer Renee Gaddis, ASID of Collins & DuPont Interior Design has created a relaxed environment featuring a tone-on-tone neutral palette that carries the eye to views of the lush exterior colors. The predominant wall coloring is light beige with a tint of terracotta toffee that plays against light toned porcelain tile floors. The very slight contrast of color that sets neutrals against darker neutrals eliminates visual congestion and establishes Gaddis’ Florida paradise, vacation-like ambiance.

The first of two days of presentations by developers interested in their land becoming the home of the new Boston Red Sox spring-training facility ended late this afternoon after about four hours of PowerPoint presentations and Q and A.
The final presentation was for Three Oaks Regional, which has a site south of Alico Road and west of Interstate 75. John McGarvey said his site is good to go.
“We’re ready to rock,” McGarvey said.
Five other developers will make presentations beginning at noon Thursday in a meeting room at the Lee County administration building in downtown Fort Myers.
Following Thursday’s presentations, a panel of county and Red Sox officials will trim the list to three or four. Maybe even two or five.
“I’d like to see three,” said Jim Lavender, the county’s public works director.
The finalists will then move onto to more talks and negotiations with the county commission. Lavender said he hopes to move the finalists onto the board’s agenda by the end of March.
Today’s presentations began with Estero North Point, which has an Estero site at U. S. 41 and Williams Road, started the day at 1 p.m.
Dougall McCorkle, a senior vice president for the Lutgert Companies, spoke for the site.
“The only site directly on U.S. 41,” McCorkle said during his presentation.

Aced it.
The first professional golf tournament held at Treviso Bay, designed expressly for that purpose, is in the record books as a success.
The impromptu inauguration was a charm for the eighth venue in the senior tour’s 23rd year in a row in Southwest Florida.
With the weatherman cooperating 100 percent and the big crowds, efficient parking management and some top-notch golf — with the final rounds carried on TV’s Golf Channel — the ACE Group Classic was a welcome booster shot of good news and great national exposure.

The Lutgert Companies’ award winning Magnolia II villa residence reflects the elegance found throughout Estuary at Grey Oaks. Molly Grup and Amanda Sherwood of Robb & Stucky have created an interior with a soft, transitional look. Décor with a European flavor and a neutral palette of chocolates, crèmes and everything in between are featured throughout. The furnishings include soft, contemporary upholstery that provides a warm, eclectic feeling. Neutral tone, clean looking Saturnia stone flooring and walls done in “softer tans” provide a strong contrast against some of the darker wood tones of the furniture.

Lisa Paul, director of commercial properties for Lutgert Companies, can look around Naples and know that in her 25-plus years here she’s had a big hand in shaping the community’s retail landscape. And while she can now confess her love of property management, saying frankly, “As sick as it sounds, it is in my blood,” that discovery was a winding road for this Ohio native.
As a young woman, Mrs. Paul dreamed big. With an associate’s degree in paralegal studies and a bachelor’s of science in intergovernmental relations from the University of Toledo, she was eager to leave her Ohio hometown for the bustling Washington, D.C., her sights set on being a lawyer or working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
However, when the proverbial fork in the road presented itself, Mrs. Paul put her big-city dreams on hold and instead accepted her parents’ offer to live in their newly purchased condo in Naples.
“I knew nothing about Naples, but since they had a condo and I love Florida, I took them up on their suggestion,” she says.
While generous, the offer didn’t come without stipulations. Her parents expected monthly rent payments, which meant finding a job was her top priority.
Gulf Title, a title insurance company, saw the new graduate’s potential. By the time the company closed its doors a few years later, Mrs. Paul had worked her way up through the ranks to vice president.

Sharing your bit of paradise with family and friends is a long-standing Naples tradition. That’s why many condominium buildings have included guest rooms that residents can reserve for visitors. At Aria, the last high rise building on Park Shore beach, special attention to guest accommodations is just one measure of The Lutgert Companies’ commitment to creating a truly great lifestyle. In keeping with the elegance and attention to detail that have become a Lutgert hallmark, guests at Aria are in for a special treat.
Visitors first note that Aria’s 18-story tower, which includes 65 residences, of which 13 are penthouses, is a handsome sight from Gulf Shore Boulevard. As they arrive at the spacious porte-cochere, they are welcomed to a stunning lobby featuring an Alberto Cavalieri steel sculpture entitled Entrada Retrato as its focal point. Here, colors, design elements and textures created by Marc Michaels of Winter Park, Florida echo the building’s beachfront location. A clubroom, boardroom with private dining room, a first-rate fitness center and spa and billiard room are just steps away. Just beyond, the largest pool and pool deck of the Lutgert Park Shore buildings, a private beachfront promenade and the glorious Gulf of Mexico await.
And for those special guests invited to stay at Aria, two remarkable spaces are available to enhance their visit. Taking the concept of guest suites to the next level, these accommodations, which were decorated by the same designer as were the lobby and common areas, rival the finest hotels. With the highest quality finishes and features such as flat screen plasma televisions, these guest quarters will satisfy the highest expectations.

Aria, the capstone to The Lutgert Companies’ Legacy of Luxury on Park Shore Beach in Naples, provides an uncommonly luxurious living experience. Incorporating the elegance and attention to detail that are the Lutgert hallmark, this 18-story tower include 65 residences, of which 13 are penthouses, and all of which afford spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico.
Still, the appeal of Aria reaches beyond its beauty. The careful planning for this building recognized an important consumer trend, and adjusted its design accordingly. Older properties, built for seasonal residents of an earlier era, most often contain fewer than 2,000 square feet in area. Others, built more recently on a grand scale, boast floorplans in excess of 5,000 square feet.
Just three buildings, including Aria, fall into the middle size range, which appeals to many buyers. “We like to think of Aria as ‘right-sized,’” comments Anne Killilea, Realtor-Associate for Premier Properties of Southwest Florida, Inc., Realtors, the firm that markets Aria. “Our residences range from 3,200 to 5,000 square feet, which is a size with which many people feel comfortable.”

Like many communities before it, Treviso Bay in Naples is counting on this week’s PGA Champions Tour ACE Group Classic to help promote the community and spur membership and home sales.
“I can’t think of a better way to show off the community and the course than to team with the ACE Classic,” said Sanjay Kuttemperoor, who has overseen the 1,050-acre community for his family’s Wisconsin-based V.K. Development.
